One Less Tonne

The One Less Tonne tool calculates typical greenhouse gas emission reductions (and energy cost savings) associated with actions. It is not intended to be a highly accurate emissions calculator. Full information about the assumptions underlying the tool is provided in Sources and Calculations.

The One Less Tonne tool has been produced by the Pembina Institute, an independent non-profit organization that provides policy research leadership on climate change, energy policy, green economics, renewable energy, and environmental governance, as well as extensive formal and public education programs.
